Does BarkOff Work?

After looking at the advertisement for the first time I asked the same question Does BarkOff Work? But all I could think of was all the other products that are out on the market that say they help the dog stop barking but do nothing but but hurt your dog.

Come on, think about it. There are many products out there that use the electric style of training. You put this dog collar on your dog and when he barks the thing shocks your dog. How humane is that? Not very humane is it? One of my neighbors that lives on the other block used one and didn’t have any success with it. The dog kept barking and getting shocked and when my neighbor finally relized it wasn’t going to work, took the collar off the dog and the dog kept walking around with a jerking motion.

I just couldn’t use something like that around my dog.

Then you have those other products that do use an ultra sound frequency that dogs can only hear, but, after talking to the vet I take my dog to said that those types of whistles have such a high pitch that it hurts the dogs ears and a lot of the time the end up with a headache if use too much. Not to mention that when you are out walking the dog at the park and have to use the whistle, all the dogs in the area end up getting the repercussion of it. So not only do you hurt your dog you hurt the other dogs in the area because the sound of those thing usually travel about a block and a half.

So when I took my dog to the vet for a normal check up, which I do every 6 months, I asked the vet about all of this and what he thought about the Bark Off dog trainer for barking dogs and showed him the advertisement that I had seen. He told me that is really sounded like a great product and to give it a try even tho he had not heard of it before. He said it couldn’t hurt and the most I would lose was the $10.00 + shipping and handling.

So I bought the Bark Off and tried it.

To my amazement it works better than I could have asked for. Bark Off is very light weight and user friendly. You can carry it anywhere you need to go and keep it in your pocket or carry it in your hand. It’s no bigger than cigarette lighter. There are no cords, leashes, or collars to worry about. When you use it no one but your dog can hear it and any other dog that is 20 feet or more from you wont hear it.

After using this product I have found that this training method is not only effective but harmless to you dogs ears and doesn’t cause the dog to get headaches like other ultra sound whistles. The most amazing part is that I use Bark Off to train my dog for other things like, staying in the yard, not attacking on neighbors cat and other things that he isn’t suppose to do. When he learned that the whistle meant no to barking he figures it means no to other things too. So, to answer the question Does BarkOff Work? I would have to say YES!

BarkOff-Does It Work?

BarkOff Does It Work? Good question! For the first time I can relax and not have to worry about my dogs not barking every few minutes for some reason or another. I have 3 dogs and have tried to teach them not to bark at every little thing that can be barked at without any success.

I had thought about using one of those gadgets that you can strap around the dogs neck, but I do not like to think about my dogs getting shocked every time they bark. It isn’t fair to the dog and it makes me feel like I am hurting my dogs.

Just recently I purchased the Bark Off portable unit and have had great success with it. Bark Off has been very reliable for me and very user-friendly. Not to mention it is harmless, effective and the best part, Pet-Friendly as well. My dogs now understand what good barking and bad barking is.

I am not a very big woman and now enjoy taking my dogs out for walks without them wanting to take off with my arms and bark at other dogs and people in the area that they can see. With just one push of the button I have my dogs under control and back in step walking right next to me where they should be.
